Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 bowls rice


  • 1 litre milk


  • 1 cups condensed milk


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 5 nos kesar strands


  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

Directions

  • Boil rice in a pan or pressure cook it.Grind the rice with little water or milk. Don’t grind too thick like a paste.
  • Just give one or two churn in mixture.
  • On a low flame heat the milk. Add the ground rice to the hot milk and keep stirring. Check there should not be any lump. Add the saffron and cardamom powder.
  • Add the condensed milk and stir well. Add the sugar to payasam. Give it a boil and let the Paysam get will thicken.
  • Keep stirring to avoid the paysam sticking to bottom. Once you get the required consistency.
  • Turn off the heat. Let it cool down and keep it refrigerated for couple of hours.Garnish the paysam with nuts before serving.
